I really don't see the occassion in it, yeah for H&W fans but not for anyone else, it'll just a be a pish predictable game. Remember Forest versus Chelsea last season it was awful and Forest are considerably better than H&W.

What about Wycombe Chelsea 1st leg of the Carling cup last year that was 1-1 so there is posibility for an upset although I can't see Havant winning I can see there maybe being a draw . In any case I'd rather watch Havant than Man Utd any day of the week .

Peter Crouch to score three before having his leg snapped like a twig in a tackle from some guy who works in B&Q during the week.

By the way i'm in the front row of the kop on Saturday (which is a bit kak), look out for me on the highlights, i'll be the one holding up the 'revol68 is a cunt' banner. ;)
LOL, please do! :D

i reckon 4-0 which doesn't tally with my vote

Which sight alone would be worth the watch.

thing is, I'm a supporter of the plucky underdog so obv I want to watch H&W's day in the sun, even if it ends in abject failure.

But I also think that Manure vs spuds will be a damn good game of footy for exactly the reasons RD put out there earlier.

*creosotes*

Liverpool 0 - H&W 2 (Some guy 1, Kuyt (og) 90)

:)

LOL :D:D

I'd put that bet on for a laugh.

Yeh, the FA Cup is a magical tournament, I mean I was watching the City and Villa match (probably the most boring thing I've ever seen in my life) and was amazed at the scores and reports coming from the H&W match. They may not have the quality of players as Premiership teams but I bet they'll play with 10x more dedication and heart than the Spurs or United players will or whatever substitute matches are on, and that's much more enjoyable for me to watch than two Premiership teams who I'll probably just see the best parts on MOTD anyway. :)

Liverpool 2 H&W 1 with Crouch scoring an athletic goal in a pose that makes him look like a swastika in the last minute, breaking Hampshire hearts. :(

oh fuck off Man Utd versus Spurs is always going to be a better match.
Bollocks. It might be, I agree, but you have no assurance that won't be totally dire. At least with Liverpool-Havant you get the Cup romance.

I want Liverpool to be 3-0 up at half time before Havant score 3 to take it to extra time and penalties and win, if only to shut Liverpool fans up about 2005 and "winning" the European Cup from fourth place in league. Gerrard own goal hat-trick too. :)

Liverpool will win whatever team they put out but I hope that Benitez give havaloo some respect and puts Gerrard and Torres in his starting team.

If the Hawks win, Gale has promised to take the whole team to Las Vagas for a holiday. :D

I'd love to see it, but I think his money's safe for now. :(

There's nothing special about a Man Utd Vs Spurs fixture in the 4th round of the cup.
Absolutely. And the outcome's almost as predictable as Liverpool v Havant once you look at the team sheets to see if Fergie's bothering or not.

I'd rather see a bunch of part timers living out their dreams than Man Utd playing to their armchair fans for the millionth time.

He's copying my non-league club who managed to draw at home to Swnasea in the 2nd Round and so replayed in sunny south Wales - Sky took both live so making the cup run worth approx £300,000. The club are taking all the players on a 5 day break to Vegas at the end of the season as a reward.

As for Man Utd vs. Spurs - it could be very exciting indeed imo.

Can't believe its not on telly!

Same here. But hey! We have two fantastic, never-seen-before, dead-exciting all Premiership ties on the Beeb this weekend, including Wigan vs Chelsea which will clearly be a game to demonstrate the magic of the FA C...zzzzz

...oh, Chelsea won it 1-0.

500 channels on my TV, yet not one showing Havant v Liverpool.

Proves that the BBC is absolutely the wrong place for football coverage. They'll do a good job of showing the final, and maybe the semis (I hope) - but what about the rest of the competition?

This is why the FA Cup is a dying off.

It's Liverpool vs. Havant, had it been Havant vs. Liverpool the tv peole would have been a lot more interested. As it is, watching a cringingly one-sided affair is deemed to not be entertainment in the sporting contest sense.

I thought the BBC chose wrongly when they went for Citeh vs. Villa, but I don't have a problem with them not showing the Liverpool game live.

It's not why the FA Cup is "dying" at all.

The hawks go 1 up. Keep it tight boys and run down the clock. Youse have a tough away game at Hayes and Yeading coming up.

It doesn;t really matter if Havant lose 1000-1 now, because they scored at Anfield and that's a fantastic achievement.
