Am quite tearful now they're singing 'wish you were here'
Roger Waters voice is very weak though

*thows champagne at the offender*
PInk floyd and being straight and sober doesnt quite 'go'
I think it is more wierd to expect teenagers to be wonderful musicians. Mind you maybe some people don't care what the noise sounds like and are more interested in the haircuts or something. Each to their own and all that.
Well this is class & I don't care who knows I said it !!
Im getting ready for an anticlimax of the same format as the time at Glasto where Roger Waters was on and marvelous, but was followed by Rod Stewart!
Reaches for Air Guitar
I've met the daughter of one of them. Shes an extremely gorgeous girl called India who goes to psy-trance parties (or used to a few years ago).
Im quite enjoying Pink Floyd myself.
Just watched Pink Floyd, can't see what all the fuss is all about, you would think it was the second coming, bit of the emeperors new clothes, imo, then again Waters did give one of his many houses to charity, can't see Geldof or Bono doing that. But The Who or whats left of them, wow, didnt think i would like them , but the very salient Won't Get Fooled Again' blew me away, only bit i've really watched
oh god ... it's sir frog song
That was fucking cool!
................... goodnight from him .....................
Although Roger Waters looked like he was trying to hard in places but still I liked seeing them in their stripped down form (much like their early days)...damn shame there's nothing more from them in terms of studio albums.
Yep and yep, that song always gets me though.
It was also good to see the young uns getting to see the proper version of Comfortably Numb.
gimme more pink floyd
Gilmour's was alright mind ....
It was worth waiting to see the Floyd for 24 years...even on the telly
Fucking right, that was only three songs innit? They must of cut one because of the over run. Should of just cut Robbies set and let them play for half an hour!
Yep. They even managed the arm in arm thank you at the end!
I turned it sraight off after Floyd, couldn't face the rest.
Worth turning it on for, just the Floyd set, but I did see Won't Get Fooled Again just before as welll ...
Thought Pink Floyd were absolutely excellent. Great sound after some pretty ropey earlier acts. Loved the banner that said "Pink Floyd reform: Pigs are flying!" What tremendous guitarist Dave Gilmour is.
LOL @ Wossy saying Madonna was 73!!!
