Well it was fucking absolute drivel from the first episode but now it is racist simple minded lowest common denominator balls. The characters are not in the least bit 'grotesque'; they are just silly or dull or insulting - as my mate said, every oriental looking kid will be getting called 'Ting Tong' at school from now on - har de har!

Would they black up and play a crack-head Jamaican or have a Pakistani bus driver called 'Bud Bud Ding Ding' with his hilarious catchphrase 'Move along the bus please' ? Eh..NO.

Rubbish reactionary easy target moron comedy - like Russ Abbott, Dick Emery or Benny Hill (oh - sorry, silly me it is post modern ironic homage to the 'greats' of British comedy - piss) Stale Fast Show ten years too late.

Harry Enfield without Ted and ralph to rescue it. I am amazed that so many people like this rubbish.

Matt Lucas can be funny but I find Wallims totally unamusing. Vicky Pollard and Dafydd are mildly funny characters but the rest of it is absolute crap, third rate rip offs of the Fast Show and League of Gentleman.

I agree with all of it- the new series lacked any creative talent which used to distract from the stereotypes on display...
As they have seemingly run out of ideas the show looks more pathetic, Russ Abbott would have scrapped the woman peeing in the supermarket as a joke too far whilst the joke in the London Aquarium was so screamingly obvious I took my chance to get a beer from the fridge...
Would have been better if they had kept this on BBC3 and screened repeats of the genuinely funny Catherine Tate

Holy crap, I thought is was only me that thought LB was utter toss. What's so clever about repeating the same 'gags' week after week. You only need to look at the little pissants chavas that repeat LB lines round Croydon town centre to realise it's missing it's mark. Baker, I am disappointed in you and your jaunty buttocks.

Wooh! Finally I'm not alone in not liking this childish rubbish. I sat and watched it with people who sat there guffawing while 2 men in fat suits, one blacked up (why? Does being black automatically mean more funny?), rolling around on the floor. I can see why my 8 year old cousin might find this amusing, but not grown adults.

I like Majorie Dawes, for example - and some of the earlier, more surreal stuff (teeny dennis waterman). But they seem to be heading in an increasingly unfunny, tired direction.

Me too , There I was thinking id lost my sense of humour , i sat there and tried to find it funny but with no joy , when i said this to a couple of peeps i know , they looked at me as so i was a freak ( well more so than normal ). Thank God you lot are here !!! I dont feel so alone now

Yeah there is potential for quite funny satire there, (Dafydd, Vicky Pollard) but it's been ruined by rubbish slapstick.

I have friends/people I know who like brilliant comedy from Dad's Army, Porridge and Laurel and Hardy to Brass Eye, Human Remains and Larry Sanders...who THEN put Little Britain in same league! - I am in a minority of 3 out of people I know - Shandy and one bloke at work. Weird.

I think its slightly unfair to lump Emery and Abbot in with Little Britain. I can think of one slightly contentious charachter each had but thats slightly contentious by todays standards, not by those of the 70's and 80's respectively;indeed when you look at their contemporaries they were comparatively inoffensive.

Little Britain is dogshit though.

To be fair , when it first came out it was 'quite' funny , but there only seemed like enough material for about 3 episodes , but now its just stale and the new characters are not funny IMO. Its typical of a lot of so called comedy these days , make someone laugh once and it just gets milked and milked.........

i thought LB was absolute crap. i've enjoyed some of their other stuff (and have a crush on David W) but this was dire. just an excuse to wear frocks was my opinion.
