12 but it's crap! It's from Primark and a bit see through-y and not a very flattering shade of yellow.

Who's been taking pictures of rich!s dad's front room?

(I think rich! is trying to live up to the family reputation... )

Good grief! I put off loads!

* Get someone to clear the garden

* Tidy the patio and empty all the dead plant pots

* Sort out damp patch in small bedroom

* Get hall, stairs and landing decorated

* Fix security lighting

* Clear garage (again)

* Buy a bedside light for my daughters room

* Get the light fixed in my bedroom

* Sell a car (I need to put more effort into this one and stop turning people down because I don't like the sound of them)

* Sort out what we are doing with my husbands ashes  (They are at the bottom of my daughters wardrobe atm!)

* Get the carpets and rugs cleaned

* Fix the dining room curtain rail so we can actually shut the curtains again

* Get the stereo fixed so we can listen to cd's again

* Glue a dining room chair back together

* Sort out the childrens books and toys and freecycle what they don't want anymore

And that's just off the top of my head :( There's probably more!

Eta. And I need to find out what caused the leak in my bedroom bay window!

I'm pretty much on top of everything apart from housework which hasn't been done for about Five months :)

There's barely a square inch of uncluttered space. Haven't even changed my bed linen. Everything is dusty.

I may do it tomorrow or, the day after or, this weekend possibly. Unlikely.

The bathroom looks a bit sordid mind. I'll do that before I next get a surprise visit from someone I'm keen to impress. Or, maybe they'll do it for me :)

1. Fixing bathroom radiator - 4 or 5 years
2. Finishing decorating in living room - 2 years
3. Change name with utility companies - 6 years
4. Going to dentist - 2 years
5. Getting someone in to work out why the plug socket doesn't work - 8 years
6. Notifying DVLA of change of address and change of name - 11 and 6 years respectively
7. Getting loft hatch made bigger - 8 years
8. Reading for my 3rd year at uni - 4 months
9. Getting BG to come and do some heating work - 4 months
10. Decorating rest of house, even just a nice lick of paint - 8 years
11. Taking unwanted books to Shelter - 2 years
12. Tidying the entire house - my whole lifetime

I r slovenly.

Stripping, filling, sanding and repainting the 3-sided conservatory wooden windowframes and outer door (putting it off since we moved in 4 years ago)
Redecorating living room (likewise)
Redecorating both bedrooms upstairs which got damaged by damp when the roof had a leak (4 monthsish)
Replacing tatty and slightly mouldy bathroom blind (years)

HOWEVER I don't feel too bad as this summer I have managed to strip, fill, sand and paint all outside windowframes apart from conservatory ones (so that's 8 separate ones) and the front door, all got undercoat and 2-3 coats of gloss, and I've painted a low boundary wall too. So I don't feel completely lazy.

Putting up two shelves in my daughter's room (about a month - but partly because I can't decide whether they should actually go in there or elsewhere).

Clearing out the kitchen drawers.

I have a few other things I need/want to do (like decorate the bathroom), but I'm not putting them off exactly; they're things I'll do when I have more time and money.
