List the hideous commercial Christmas cash-ins here

it delicious - shabbat wine - iirc its a bit sweeter than normal wine but not sickly - ive had it a couple of times a few years ago now though

It's vile :D my dad and I always attempt to studiously avoid it with failure. Kosher wine in general is awful, like kosher chocolate which is all kinds of grim.

A lot of people think its fantastic

I really expected to hate it...but I didn't! Christmas and sharing seem to go well together and it came across to me as being anti-war; neither of which sentiments I have to go anywher near Sainsburys for.

Its a question of future message vs exploitation for profit.

If it was an advert for a charity, yes........ Its not though, its an advert for a multi million pound supermarket, who will rake in the profits this xmas and will be giving a tiny amount to the charity they're purporting to support.

Agreed...I know I should hate it...I was just suprised at my reaction; will have to give myself a stern talking to.

Tonight's eye-opener is Christmas themed "Paintball Experience Packages" - eg Santa, Rudolph, Elf and Snowman. - Each at varying prices with between 16 and 48 "free" shots. Oh and discount upper-body/face armour too.

Like nothing says Christmas more than going-out and shooting folk - Hmmm, I'm beginning to warm to the idea! :o :D

ah yes, here it is

They are selling seasonal scented bog rolls in Marks & Spencer. They smell of cinnamon and cost £3 for 4. Alas the bog rolls are not impregnated with holly. Spoilsports.
