Life is Beautiful Film Four Now!

I dont think the film ever claimed to be a serious representation about what it must have been like to have been in a concentration camp but rather one about the human spirit, using the back drop of WW2 and the horrors it represented.

If so, it failed unless the human spirit wears a crusted coat of elephant jizz.
Which, I'll give you, it might.

Amen to that.

Before I had kids I never really cried at films. I confess to having my eyes fill up with tears at the end of Love Story but a person would need to be made of stone not to feel something when he gives her a hug just before she pops her clogs. But I never sobbed.

Now however, it dont take much to set me off at all. Life is Beautiful stood out because I was still bursting into tears two days later just thinking about it but there have been many other films and TV programes that have caused me to cry.

I burst out laughing. Must have been the 70s haircuts.
