What a fantastic series. I used to rush home from the gym on a Monday night just to see it! This kind of tv almost makes me forgive 'n forget some of the reality"/celebrity-based shite the BBC seems to specialise in nowadays.
Although Attenborough is peerless when it comes to this type of programming, some acknowledgement should be given to the cameramen/women and other crew members who actually film, edit etc those enthralling images.
Without out a doubt the technical skills and tenacity of the BBC crews are what makes the programme so visually stunning. But then imagine the same images presented by thet Scottish twunt from Coast or Ben "wanker" Fogle
What a superb series, and last night was no exception. Had me in hysterics at times, every time a new male challenger closed in on the happy turtle couple, by the end it was just ridiculous, but amazing.
On a side note, my Life In Cold Blood poster came through at the weekend, it has all the reptiles of Britain on it

Possibly so. The point I was (rather clumsily) trying to make was that Attenborough rightly gets plaudits for the series, but the rest of the team sometimes get forgotten - not that it's his fault, btw.
I blubed at the round up at the end because it was the last one ever of the Life series, and at Lonesome George & how many of the creatures they've filmed were on their last chance to be filmed in the wild or at all
Just realised I missed a documentary about Lonesome George last night on bbc2
