I was a camera man at the "Johnny Cash at San Quentin Prison" show IIRC Johnny wasn't keen on the script he was given and almost didn't go through with the show , luckily I had a quite word in his ear just before he went on stage and convinced him to do what he wanted , which is damn lucky because otherwise he'd have been doing covers of Bill Haley and his comets songs
