Lewis for the title?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/7029797.stm

Not guilty, m'lud.

Webber was behaving like a dipstick, IMO. he's supposed to be a F1 driver, cream of the crop, elite and all that. If he can't cope with a bit of sudden braking while driving at 50% race speed, or with a spot of rain, he should hand his F1 licence over to someone else.

I struggle to imagine the great J Stewart Esq, or G Hill or J Clarke embarrassing themselves in public by complaining another driver made a safety lap too hard.

What the fuck were they playing at? Why didn't they bring him in sooner?

& the tyres they had out were Alonso's. So they expected him to do another lap!

ETA - no scratch that, they were for him.

it was ron dennis demonstrating his 'god-like' powers in light of hamilton's 'alleged' "i will walk away from this sport" speech after the inquiry(?) on friday.

Real shame for Lewis, you could see he was having real trouble when Rakonin overtook him and put 8 seconds into him very quickly, and Alonso was almost on him when he turned into the pits. If only they'd brought him in sooner (if...if...if...) Still, roll on Brazil.

C'mon Lewis

Shame but it reinforces what an amazing season this rookie is having. And Vettel was superb again...wonder if Toyota will try and sign him?

Vettel was great, but as far as I know he's tied down to Toro Rosso/RedBull for the foreseeable. Heard a rumour that Timo Glock has signed for Toyota to replace Ralf - its all forum hearsay at the moment.

Looking forward to Brazil - whatever happens it'll be bloody nerve-wracking!
