Fried dumpling is fine.
The bits in the curry are like little twists, they're not fried, just cooked in the sauce.

Boiled dumpling then.
Same process of preparation just a different shape and boiled in the stew/sauce instead of fried in oil.
I must live too out in the sticks...only ever really saw them in Peckham etc ...started growing my own now
WHAT?Well pardon me, oh great guardian of Jamaican culture.
why are you angry?
Not quite the same texture that way though, more stodgy.

thats just craphis microwave is called babylon and ping
his microwave is called babylon and ping
, made beef pepperpot for his Mum, went to Brighton to make some kebabs, went to a wanky nouvelle place then cooked for the JA high commissioner who has the numberplate I JAM

The food he's making isn't the simple food he keeps saying caribbean food is, a lot of it seems all fancy and tarted up.

I'm still watching. Enjoying it
Complicated?! Reallly?! I haven't tried anything YET but I will. Doesn't seem too complicated to me...and I'm no chef.

Bear in mind I once started on a Delia 'basics' book someone lent me, and I never got beyond the first recipe, an omelette.![]()

Actually, in my defence, the second recipe was an Omelette Savoyarde, where there's potatoes involved, and it seemed waaay tricky to get the potatoes to cook in amongst the basic omelette, without messing up one or the other because they cook at different rates. So actually, I think Delia picked the totally the wrong recipe for number two in her book.![]()

Er, you cook the potatoes before the omelette..![]()

No wonder he's flogging loads of it.he's a tool of babylon
have you seen that video of him talking about the recession on the bbc website?
