Putting RnB in would be a travesty. Yes, most modern stuff that goes by that label is toss, but originally it was just a catch all term for gospel, soul and blues - ie where they could chart and separate all the 'black music.' Before it I think they even used the term 'race music' (nice...)

That's why people - myself included - have said something along the lines of "the crap they're calling r'n'b nowadays".

Obviously anyone who wants to lump Ray Charles in with the Pussycat Dolls is just bonkers.
