Me and my mate are coming ....he'll be back in England from Germany especially for SF to compensate -- after a fashion -- for failing to get to Glasto. We'll be floorcrashing at my brother's little house down the far end of Mill Road ...

We'll be ON DA SCENE from around 7 pm Friday ...

(I'd do the camping ting again bluestreak, but twas a bit rough round the edges last time, all those barking dogs, trashed Travellers, and Brewheads shouting at each other round the fire all night ... )

rich! has lived in Cambridge in the past and since then, he's always gone to stay with his old mates the night before, woken up, and after hours of extricating himself from the family, eventually got there in the afternoon.

I've always got there on Friday, stuck a tent up, and got trashed with the locals and all my old mates, and woken up with only 100 yards to go to get there in the morning.

It has been an issue of some argument.

But I just won yay!

I'm sure it didn't look like that before? I reckon someone's been mucking with it, and decided to get rid of all the nice strawberry graphics and everything and start all over again, but wasn't sure quite what with.

oh i don't mean to be mean Stiglet - i'm an annoying sideline moaner. it's not just the website. they frustrate me; the committee. i just think they waste opportunities, that lot. i mean SF could be SO GOOD - but each year they don't seem to stretch the day, book more and different things/acts etc. there used to be so much to see and do!

i miss the insects.

i know this is down to lack of donations and support. and the council are a pain in the arse.

and i won't join the committee.......so i should just put up and shut up really.

Is it that many years running? I distinctly remember a year recently where I actually was here. 2005, maybe? I remember meetinga few Urban people at The Fort St George the day before....
Anyway, yes, I'm sorry, I must stop travelling!

you're best off looking up B&Bs - they'll be cheaper.

there's probably a list if you google. do it quick because they get filled up very quickly on st fair weekend.

We stayed at the Sleeperz Inn last year....right next to train station....rooms are tiny....but comfy and it was 50 pound for 2 with breakfast....they have a website so you can take the 'tour' ....
