In an anarchist society this type of person has no where to go.
And this one ...

Of course they have "somewhere to go" ... they just carry on doing what they damn well like and victimising those weaker than themselves ... unless you have, er, all sorts of laws and punishments and police and courts and things (or some set-up carrying out those functions).

You don't get it either...they would just get topped, others of that ilk would soon get the message.

In that quote he fails to understand anarchy at all, there will always be people that want to harm and exploit, within an anarchist system they would not be welcome to peddle their snake oil, moving on though these unproductive control freaks could join up and create their own Utopia, shame they have no productive people willing to chuck in with them.
Anarchy and anarchism aren't necessarily the same thing, you know.

So was Simon Hughes after a safe seat, then?

A cheap quip about Simon's sexuality. Your sort should realise that things have moved on since Bermondsey 1983.

lets face it, either 'not so red ken' will get back in again (coz people dont like change :hmm: ) or 'the amazing boris of zippo's circus' will get in (because people want a change and they think he's 'funny' )

sorry, brian, but as much as it would be interesting for you to win, i can't see it happening :(

but to refer to the OP, isnt everything a career move anyway?

It's never been that for the present incumbant, nor was it for Shagger Norris or Frank Dobson who both came from the House of Commons (Shadow Cabinent, I believe) to their party nomination

They were being hit by Kens new congestion charge on gas guzzlers

But what choice do they have, when the bullyboy tactics of Crowe and his minions are literally driving them into their big fuckoff 4x4s? Which, incidentally, double up as hearses for the numerous occasions when the dead are lying unburied in the streets.

Let me guess, you're one of Thatcher's children

Nah, I fucking hate unions, me. I reckon I'm probably a bit racist as well. Might be worth checking my posts.

Oh for pity's sake! The problem with sarcasm is that it doesn't always translate on the page. Like I said, if it was ironic I apologise.
