I can only think of about three albums that I'm certain were released this year. Man I'm out of the loop. I feel like I've been listening to the same bands/albums for the last few years.

- My friends who are even more out of touch than me are easily impressed by my newly discovered music that's actually just ripped off bluestreak's chart i think we should definitely post our own 20s (or however many) when the chart has been posted. There are people who's taste I really rate - if they've got an album in their list I haven't heard (of), I'll probably want to check it out

A thought: As well as posting up our individual Top 20s after the "official" rundown we could all do our Top 10 albums we discovered/fell in love with this year, irrespective of when they were released (I think a lot of the stuff I've loved this year didn't actually come out this year!!) ... what do peeps think?
