Well, let's preserve this one and let the other one sink into obscurity where it belongs. Much like (fill in amusing team name of your choice).

Oxford pissed all over York throughout yesterday's match (I was there :cool: ), without Oxford being particularly brilliant themselves :)

Kindly stop being a stirrer. Thanks. It was a genuine mistake for me to miss this thread, and I've apologised. I wanted to talk about Conference stuff (and how my team are doing well in a division for once as well, admittedly).

I'd been to a match yes, and was thus qualified to comment ...

Why is it that you label everyone who disagrees with you a stirrer? How am I stirring? I was just pointing out that you did exactly what you reported me for doing.

I don't term 'everyone' who disagrees with me a stirrer (straight out of the manual, that old cobweb :rolleyes: )-- only those who actually are, and not because they're disagreeing with me either. It's pretty clear you were blatantly stirring, in both this and the other thread. Ludicrous to pretend otherwise.

This is blatant misrepresentation. The difference is obvious -- the other Glasto thread was a purposeless duplicate, started by you in full knowledge that the other one had been established.

I have now reported the other (duplicate) Conference thread to the mods -- and requested that they bin it or lock it. (Should have done this yesterday).

As I already said, I started the other Conference thread yesterday morning having genuinely not seen this one. Your refusal to believe me on this says acres about you. As does your apparant contentment with going out of your way to be publicly sneery and unpleasant with no necessity for it.

On topic and weird fact : not a single player in the top twelve scorers in the Conference plays for Oxford United :confused:

Our status is mostly down to having a mean and solid defence ... :)
 
How likely do others in this thread think it that Oxford will retain their current dominance?

As I asked yesterday :

Does anyone see any other team having a realistic chance of knocking Oxford off the top perch? Are our weaknesses concealed by the poor quality of most of the opposition?

I don't understand this. How can Oxford be top without having had anyone score? :confused:

Second, Weymouth still have massive crowds and cash to burn....

Incidentally, Weston reached an all time low* by going out to fucking Hungerford in the 2nd qualifying round of the FA Cup on Saturday. At home! :(

(*not strictly true, since we've never been relegated in over 50 years of existence, but this is probably the biggest shock we've been on the end of)
