Leonardo Di Caprio

I thought he was excellent in 'Catch Me if you Can' and 'The Departed'.

I would never go a see a film just cos Di Caprio's in it, but I do think when he pops up he can act.

I thought he was by far the best part of the departed.

Yeah, thought he made an exceptional start when a youngster, but I got horrible irritated by him after that. Then recently he seems to have started maturing into roles a bit more.
Departed was a genuinely pleasant suprise.

I've only seen the departed on a very poor copy and I didn't realise that Di Caprio and Damon were different characters till the end :D

I don't understand why he gets so many chances. like he's an ok actor, and quite good looking, but he always gets these massive films and he always just seems out of his depth

What's up with that? Is his uncle Martin Scorcese or something?

Di Caprio is a quality actor

^That, and the original of the departed is excellent, two and three are ok too. They did a very good job reworking the film but had to cut out some of the scenes i liked, although on balance of things i'm fairly glad the stereo bit got cut, didn't add much and wasn't well enough done to be a Tarantinoesque view on contemporary society.
