I got a ticket! Something like £48 & it's an outdoor gig in July! Plus I get to stay on a boat after the gig cos it's kind of far away from houses.
Sorry, but 75 quid x 20,000 peoplethat's a fucking ridiculous retirement sum!

And less the promoter's cut, the agent's 10-15%, and his manager's 12%.
I'm not saying he won't get a nice little earner from this but he will be lucky to see 20% of the 1.5 million (minus booking fees) ticket revenue.

they sold out pretty much straight away for manchester, london a bit less quicky, but i think O2 release more tickets every so often possibly? but try Dublin and Edinburgh, or even the europe ones.ah shit - have all the tickets sold out?

People don't necessarily realise that bands have to hire out venues...
Obviously I'd have preferred a nice intimate venue (eg Bush Hall!) but that wasn't much of an option, I'm guessing.
