I didn't hate the phantom menace, but then ive never been a massive fan of the original trilogy. I prefer Battlefield Earth.

I've been saying there should be the film Mathilda for years, literally, years. Hoping some producer will somehow through the magic ethers pick up on the idea and give Besson a call.

Obviously Leon is dead, so the film Mathilda would be about Mathilda all grown up, having left the school for girls, and maybe having become an assasin, or just abit dodgy with a... 'dramatic' ability to take care of herself and get things done.

...and possibly giving Tony a Colombian necktie when she finds out that's he's spunked Leon's savings on keeping his restaurant afloat.
