Loved him when I was a young 'un with his funny faces and funny voices,bout as funny as cock cancer now.
 
Lenny is crap but it is a proper British Crapness!

Not like the celebrities these days, they can't stick in through shitness like our Len can. Take that Josh bloke from the telly, he won our hearts and our minds but where the fuck is he now? He was on telly all the time and even some prime time slots but now we just don't know.......... I am not sure what the programme was called.......something called Big Brother or something.......second series..........I never watched it..........don't even have a telly.........tooo cool and stuff or something........just thought it would be a good comparison....
 
I'm sure his apperance has ticked a few boxes for the BBC.

Expect to see a black person next on the BBC in March now.

I like him! I was actually at that Apollo gig too and all the haters I went with all said he was really good. The bit about hip hop was great! And Mandela's garden :D lol.

I'm obviously on my own again!

However naff he is though (and he has done some very crap comedy too), he will always be forgiven in my book for being a very underrated actor (I thoroughly recommend 'Alive & Kicking' in 1991 where he plays a smack addict and 'Hope & Glory' from 1999 where he's a headteacher). Not to mention tons of good stuff he's done for Comic Relief. I'd buy him a drink if I ever met him. Top bloke.

An anti Lenny thread comes up every couple of months.

Perhaps the mods could add some kind of a time managment system for them - so we can be sure when the next one is coming along.

I agree with Skyscraper101. He's lots to be proud of, even though he can come on as a bit of a buffoon these days.

There was another one where he acted in a road trip - I think it was 'Coast to Coast' that was good and his recent series investigating humour in different regions was good too.

So much bile and so little lurve here.:)

Yeah! He's not my cup of tea, but he raises a smile every now and again and he seems perfectly charming.

That advert he does for travellodge or whatever is categorically shit. But I like it anyway cos it's Lenny Henry! However bad his jokes get/remain, he's the sort of infectious cheery person who'll have you grinning anyway. :):)
