Leisure Batteries

Looks easy that.

Now, the beauty of the T-Amp system is best expressed by the following simple pictogram:

* * Boss speakers
| Cable
0 T-Amp
| Cable
• Ipod

Those T-Amps look great, but as dub says lots of people have pretty good hi-fis installed in their van already and just want to be able to run that without flattening the starter battery.

Also it's handy to have 240v to run things like hairdriers and rechargers for the AAs that the kids use in their Gameboys, etc.

well, well worth it, dub. I was sceptical, as was my sound engineer brother. He's bought four now. They're shit hot and can even drive a set of floor-standing celestions (like this) http://www.celestion.com/products/fseries/f20.html

I use mine with bookshelf monitors for picnics etc and it's excellent.

For the lights, can't you just buy a car battery and hook up an inverter? http://www.motor-world.co.uk/show_prod.php?client_id=7&prod_id=1187

Saves a load of fucking around.

NB: I know fuck-all about electricity etc

well there's all sorts in there, so a leisure battery makes sense (i think the inverter's already there, but just running off the standard engine battery right now)
