The lego is awesome. The tank tracks are particularly nifty. I've started a tank - it uses 2 differentials to add/subtract the outputs of two motors. One controls forward/backward - the other steers. The differentials split the power relative to the left and right tracks. It moves very smoothly

Next challenge is fitting a rotating turret. It'll be a tight squeeze. It's a shame we couldn't find the motors or the computer brick from the RCX set
