I don't think we can have Father Jack. Whilst he's not as constant as Ted and Dougal, he is in every episode and two are based around him, New Jack City and Grant Unto Him Eternal Rest. If we're looking for a Ted character, how about Noel Furlong, or Austin Purcell ("I knew a woman once, but she died soon afterwards" ).

Lord Flashheart (Rik Mayall) in Blackadder always makes me laugh; "I know what you're thinking, is that a canoe in my trousers or am I just pleased to see you?".
