This must put you in my age range! The last two were quality.

So all of them, plus

Andy Pandy
Rupert the Bear (with evil twiggy creature)
Playschool (which window is it gonna be? Can I BEAR the excitement?!)
The Herbs

Oh aye, I remember the weird twiggy thing in Rupert the Bear. :D

The Herbs were quality.

, a mid-70s offering on American public television with what has to be the bar none, no question, getthefuckouttahere, hottest theme song ever for a kid's television show. "Earworm" doesn't even begin to describe it.

eta: the damned video has been removed, ffs. Years I've been looking for it, and then it's on youtube for one brief, incandescent moment...and now it's gone again!

I remember Lamb Chops, but I didn't even realise it was American until just now!

I used to love the Woodentops. :o

ETA Oh my word - there are loads of Woodentops on youtube!

When I first moved to Manchester we often used to see Derek Griffiths in town. My mate oince saw him looking in Lewis's window and went up to ask him was he looking through the round/square/arch window. He wasn't that amused.

I thought he was well cool before that, especially singing Heads n Tails.

Oh, and did anyone watch Wait 'Til Your Father Gets Home?

Was it any really any good? or was it just there was fuck all else on on Sunday afternoon.

:D Yeh, cos I bet he NEVER gets asked that

I'd find it pretty much irresistable though if I saw him :D

That's how I would remember it too but I wasn't sure if that was just because it was an american cartoon about a family.

The house and car going into the garage bits in the start are fairly similar though.
