A centralised activist core organised around key principles and capable of acting as a unified fist does not mean operating in isolation, but as part of a broad based pluralist movement, whilst not simply submerging and disappearing into it.

They keep saying that socialism is dead, yet Groucho remains one of the undead.

Socialism may not be dead. But the ideas propogated by the likes of the SWP and other far left groups (Different Varieties of Socialism from Above) look decidedly off colour.
What are the key principles you talk about? Where do they come from?
