fuck me - just been having a read through that, and a proper look into what actually went on that led to all this, and can only conclude that ken bates is a complete power hungry cock end who I'd not trust to buy drinks in rounds with.

some of the manouvering he seems to have done to ensure that he could scrape together the over 25% of the creditors vote needed to block any other bids, and secure the 75% needed to force through the initial cva are mental. No wonder the Inland Revenue and football league were so fucked off with how it had been handled.

in a way though I do find myself grudgingly admiring his audacity and determination, he's a ruthless fucker and no mistake.
