Lee Perry and his absurd obsession with farm animals

A similar claim is made here - regrettably in the usual clumsy style which makes it hard to follow the sentences, such as they are, let alone the argument. (The background doesn't help either.)

I saw Lee Perry perform at the Hackney Empire some years ago. He was completely pissed, incapable of doing anything but repeat "mi want mi teddy bear" over and over. After about twenty minutes of this he was politely ushered from the stage. Genius or twat: you be the judge.

I suspect that's a myth - it's suggested that it was actually an electrical fault that resulted in the fire.
Anyway - he's always been a nutter

This thread is funny. Well just the part where the troll gets fed. Should have just ignored him, people.

True - never reply to annoying posts first thing in the morning when hungover

There's a nasty habit on this forum of calling people "troll" when you don't like what they're saying. More in-crowd behaviour, I'm afriad.
Oh my god! A DF typo - this must be recorded for posterity! :p

Accusing someone else of being a troll is the surest sign that the accuser is himself a troll. It is in fact the primary way in which trolls "out" themselves as such.

There's a certain truth to that argument, but the trouble is that if that were the case then nobody could actually make the claim in the first place...

Nobody *should* make the claim in the first place. Only a troll would want to do so.

I especially like this verse definition:

They call me Troll;
Gnawer of the Moon,
Giant of the Gale-blasts,
Curse of the rain-hall,
Companion of the Sibyl,
Nightroaming hag,
Swallower of the loaf of heaven.
What is a Troll but that?

I thought a trolls intent was to disrupt the thread, I was valiantly trying to bring it back on topic after the pedantic tag team overtook it with their inane waffling.

It's just the fact that your input on this thread is completely pointless, so why bother? Were/are you bored? I don't understand why you thought your off-topic pedantry necessary, and I don't understand why anyone else took notice and made the time and effort to start such a pointless argument.

As opposed to the OP, which addresses one of the fundamental burning issues of our time.
