Not crap

He tries to hard with the 'physical' comedy for me. He is a funny guy with plenty of stage presence though. Not a bad bit part in cheesy films either.

His stand up makes laugh but does not warrant repeat viewing.

Not keen on him as a comedian, but not a bad actor when he's doing serious stuff. He was good in Freeze Frame i thought.

Yeah - me too One of my favourite films, helped by the fact it's set in Blackpool (my home town) and I know (well, recognise) some of the variety acts that turn up for the audition. Oliver Platt's best movie performance as well

To all those who dismiss him please go and watch Funny Bones; you may not be convinced of his talents but you will have seen a rare cinematic treat and got a taste of into the bargain.
