Lebanon Elections - US support is 'kiss of death'

if r18 could provide one link.......?

even if he could i think his job on these boards is not to add to the debate but to distract posters from thinking about it themselves

i still think he talks bollocks

No no no - the real question is whether or not they had a state. Or a monarch-in-waiting, obv (???). The Jews did and the Arabs didn't, apparently, so they have a legitimate claim to sole possession of said lands. Except some Jews are Arabs. So just the ones that never converted then. Or is it just the Muslims who relinquished their claims when Mohammed conquered the ME because war is an illegitimate means to acquire territory. Unless you then form a state, or had a monarch at the time (???), obv.

Yeah, that's it.

Nobody-it's a typical deflection technique of his. Claim that he is being attacked personally when he's under pressure to provide links/proof.

Just like never using the "quote" function, but rather writing an interpretation (always favourable to the point Rachamim is making, of course) of what you've written, and placing it within speechmarks (an act which has misled people into believing that his interpretations are actual quotes).

Or his tactic of screaming about "ad homs" while launching into bilious ad hominem attacks himself.

You're talking about the Haloptype variation, R1a1, which 52 percent of Levites of Ashkenazi origin, who were tested, were found to have. This variation is most concentrated in Central Asia, however this does not necessarily denote 'nativity' or 'origin', and could just as likely to be linked to migration over centuries and intermarriage. One of my girlfriends is a Levite, and she looks Circassian - blue eyed, curly dark hair - almost 'Irish' looking. Her family, Ashkenazi Levites, came to UK to escape the Holocaust, as did my Uncle's family, and my ex-partners mother's family.

Invisibleplanet. I hope I wan't rude. We seem in general to be in agreement, yet I appear unintentionally to be irritating you somehow. I am not heavily informed about genetics, except perhaps as they bear on the alleged 'Anglo-Saxon' settlement in England - I talk about the Khazars because I read Koestler's book when young and impressionable and thought it made a lot of sense - and I reckon that the most basic understanding of agricultural economics indicates that invaders don't kill off prospective workers except as a Julius Caesar-like bit of terrorism once in a way. One of my once-upon-a-time 'Israeli' friends looked like a cliche nazi storm-trooper, and I - a typical 'Welshman' in my view - am constantly taken for a German in France and Italy, whereas a high proportion of my ancestors look, in photographs, 'typically Jewish'. The range of human types and people's perception of them, even in quite small populations, varies enormously, I think. I am more interested in what people do than in their imaginary football teams.

I miss him already.
