A perma-ban is in order I feel

Mini-pointies FTW :)

Beautiful

English bull dogs I'd say.
The only reason they aren't winning the poll is that no one knows what an EBT is unless they read through the post (like they should).

*nods*

Sadly Mr B is one of these wrong uns and won't be swayed by my pleading that we consider a whippet or similar hound for our future dog.

I think me and a whippet would make and excellent like-owner like-dog pairing

I momentarily thought we should have a best dog poll but there's so damn many and I wouldn't know what ten to put up.

Personal faves:

Lakeland Terrier
Rottweiler
Springer Spaniel
Cairn Terrier
Then again, mongrel would probably win followed by Jack Fucking Russell

English Bull Terriers.

They may be lovely dogs, but they'd look prettier if they had their heads stoved in with a shovel :(

Pugs are pretty gross. Hard to tell their arses from their faces.

But it has to the staffy (if thats the one that all the chav kids walk around with). Just fucking awful.

LOL @ doggy :D

Good to see no votes for dobermans yet.

There was a bulldog at the farmhouse we stayed in last November, that dog was ugly!!! Tbh I don't have a problem with staffys, whippets or dobermans. The rest range from fugly to not my cup of tea.

Staffies.

Never like them anyway from an an aesthetic and behavioural point of view and now that they are the only dog in London I'm sick of the ugly little brutes.

Obviously this is a lot to do with the idiots who own them and use them as weapons or status symbols but it still stands. I know they can be trained to be nice dogs but they often are intentionally trained to be vicious and intimidating. All of those on my estate are a menace, bar none. The owners don't walk them properly, so don't look after them properly, so they're to be found shitting on the communal grass outside my flats all the time.

My littlun's terrified of them and if one get out of control you'd struggle to protect your loved one. If that wasn't the case and they were harmless the idiots wouldn't want one so I don't buy the argument that they're really cuddly really. More than once I've had to slam one's head in the gate as it tried to force its way in to approach my daughter and attack my cat and even my Mum's old border collie.

I'd ban the breed and anything else similar to pitbulls.
