Learning Spanish. How Difficult Is It?

see, I've never come across someone who learned a language like that. Not saying it's not possible, just that the 'teach-yourself' industry makes a lot of money on good intentions, there's a massive amount of self-discipline involved in just learning a language on your own, and I don't think there's a substitute for the focus that classes gives you.

I did it like that an hour a day with an exercise book mixed with the experience of living in the country. I think it would be different if I wasn't living in the country as I wouldn't have the oppertunity to try and use what I had studied though.

Although I wouldn't mind taking classes to brush up on my grammer as I can say wahy i want to say more or less ok and I am fully understood no-one ever corrects flaws in my speach or maybe a better more natural way of expressing something. But they are dead expensive.
