Its not a 'band' for fucks sake. Its one guy. He just has musicians when he plays out live.
Oooooooooooh!

eh? who thinks that's a brutal attack on America? Nobody I've ever read, that's for sure.
After seeing them appear in many 'Must Have' lists for 2007, I dled 'Sound Of Silver'.
What a stack of over hyped shite. It's like listening to the worst bits of early 80s synthy-pop like Visage, with better production values and a cursory nod to the last 2 decades of dance music.
And his voice isn't expressive and all the other accolades - it's strained and thin and nasal.
Fucking shite.
Portuguese hacks surely do. There's not a single mention of him/sound of silver/the music itself without it. But then again, most of them probably don't even listen the records they're supposed to talk about.

that's really really really dumb![]()

is it? Portuguese hacks? How accurately could you comment on the lyrics of a pop song in Portuguese?
I've seen the same "accusation" being hurled on some american outlets. But then again, "american".You failed to mention they were Portuguese. Nobody here has been that wrong
OK, listening to a tune called 'All My Friends' Sounds like a clash between Surface to Air from Push the Button and about half a dozen Underworld tracks. And not in a good way.

And this isn't a matter of correctly interpreting lyrics. It's more hacks seeing a record being praised to high heavens abroad, and decide to write something based on those reviews and a few impressions from listening the CD stereo.

!It's for people who haven't got the balls for PROPER house and techno music.
