latest italian corruption news: prosecutor recommends relegation

The same guy who claimed he didn't feel Italian and wanted to play for (but wasn't good enough) Argentina. Waste of a midfield postion and no chance of LFC getting him if they want to accomodate Gonzalez.

I suppose at a strech he could do Hamann's role, but it's a big strech, and he'd be red carded at least 3 times a season the cheating little shit.

I thought Camoranesi is Argentinian but plays for Italy through parental connection? He's shit anyway. Gonzalez was bought to play on the left IMO so Liverpool still need a right winger. Hamann's role was as sub behind Alsonso, Gerrard and Sissoko. Hopefully Gerrard will not be asked to play RW (if we buy one - or Gonzalez plays there) this season so Sissoko will be the cover for Gerrard and Alonso.

Out of any of the players from the "fixing 4" I'd fancy Toni but his form in the WC was not as good as his 31 goals in 38 games in last year's Serie A.

Barca need soem defensive nous so Zambrotta would be very welcome. Probably wont happen, but I can dream....apparently Barca want Alves too but Edmilson or Motta would have to make way seeign as Marquez has signed on until 2010.
