What did the agency say?
No answer to my mail as yet

that agency needs to do some quality boot licking to get more of your business, a nice lunch would be a good start, plus xmas is coming and that
or are they a really specialist agency, and can afford to fuck you off as no one else can help you![]()
Nope - but to be honest I won't hold it against them. They've found me a candidate with a CV that looks the part and got an interview arranged. Short of marching the fella here what else could they do.....

The agency eventually got hold of him and he'd decided to stay where his is. Where there are presumably no phones or manners. Name stored for when he CV does the rounds again in a month or two.

It's a silly thing to do - you seen the same CVs on a cycle, next time he get's touted I won't bother. Ex-colleagues will always ring to see if you've heard of someone they've been offered too. It's a small world.
We have had a lot of late arrivals and no shows for interviews this year.
I know people are busy but I always try and arrive very early for interviews. In fact if I have time I will normally have a practise run before the day so I know the journey already.
and sweat was dripping off me
plus, he might have been asking for more money from the current lot, waved the possibility of him moving on, and they caved in and gave him extra moolah
Fine, happens all the time but the courtesy of a phone call should not be beyond anyone.
