Last ever Dick n' Dom in da Bungalow...

Grow up the lot of ya! You should be ashamed of youselves - getting up on a Saturday morning to watch juvenile antics when you could be getting up to juvenile antics yourselves! :p

What's your fav Muck Muck Grand Finale? I think mine was Muck Muck Focus, when they brought on 'Wayne Rooney' (the gurning old man) and gave away a penalty. :D

Muck or No Muck was best with that guy being Noel Edmonds walking on his knees.

Well, you lot will just have to watch Holly & Steven's Saturday Showdown on ITV - won't you? :D

It's either that or Soccer AM...urgh!

I think Harry Batt's my favourite segment at the moment. The guy who does him, and all them impressions (Chris Tarrant the other week was brilliant) is definately going on to bigger and better things. D&D's little gang of supporting players are all talented and they look like they have so much fun doing the show.

That guy, whoever he is, is brilliant - he did a great Jim whatsisname on Bullmuck :D Think my favourite is still the Crystal Muck though, the pisstake of them running to each zone was superb.

Devastatingly, I have found out that my future sis-in-law's hen weekend is THIS WEEKEND instead of next weekend like I thought. In a few hours I will be in a car heading for a cottage in Cheltenham...hope they've got a TV.

I've got a tape at the ready and my own private little Farewell Party (ie. breakfast in bed) to attend.

Only 22 hours to go... getting right choked up me. :(

I might have to request a copy of that tape if things go really tits up!

There's sure to be a 'remove the tabs' ceremony performed on that particular video tape!

Last Christmas I strolled out of East Croydon station and saw a row of posters for some panto or other, starring that Stephen whasisname shit iTv D&D rip-off. Someone had taken the time to write 'CUNT' on his forehead on each and every poster. I can't think of a better way to describe that perma-tanned, eyebrow-plucked mincing little squirt.

I shall be sad to see it go.

Love the commentry on Bogies and the sticker game.
The Crying game was a great idea too.

After the years of GMTV being the better option (Ant and Dec were ok on that and Live and Kicking was shite) it's been good to see the BBC having the upper hand on a Saturday morning again.

Fucking awful shite, isn't it? :D

:D That Northern Irish accent, "It's a lay-on-lay".. superb! It's those little touches that elevate the show and give the grownups something to smeck about.

Well, I managed to only catch the last half an hour due to a combination of excruciating hangover and over-complicated TV with no obvious 'on' button, but was glad I did...it was so sad though! *sniff*

The other girls on the hen weekend seemed quite nonplussed.

I actually managed to get up and watch it all. The last Bogeys game I didn't think was as funny as it can be.
But I very nearly died at the size of the stickers in the sticking things on people's backs game. I honestly haven't laughed so much in ages.
: )

Yeah, it wasn't the best. It was always funniest when it was just Dick and Dom playing - watching them pissing themselves laughing always cracked me up.

*sob*

It's the end of an era, loved the bit where Yentob was in bed at the end... they'll be back, though Dom is funnier than Dick IMO... wonder if they'll go it alone or remain a partnership??

It was a nice end show, not the funniest ever but it ticked all the boxes for me. Harry Batt getting switched into the interrogation game was great and the end song had me choked up summat rotten! :(

Next week is apparantly a 'best of' clip show but whether it'll just be the Sunday show repeated, I dunno.

I found a decent fansite thing here which is sating my nostalgia for the moment..

Whatever they do it's never gonna be the same as da bungalow. No other format would allow them the same freedom, and without snotty little 10-yr olds encouraged to talk back trying their hardest to spoil everything, the replacement show's gonna look pretty stale. Still, couldn't be as bad as Stephen and Holly's Saturday Shit-fest.

Saturday Kitchen for me from now on - no wait, I can sleep in again! Swings n roundabouts innit.

I caught the end of it , which meant I got to see the sticker game thingy , bogies and the baby race . Fucking gutted it won't be on again !

You okay mate? Thought I'd check up now the dust has settled... :(
I might be able to carry on if the rumours that they are to bring back Tiswas on ITV with Dick and Dom hosting it are true.

I fail to see why they should stay with the BBC - it's not as if they really do well in the comedy business these days.

I mean - "Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps" for fucks sake?

BBC's comedy commissioning editors are a joke far more remarkable than their output will ever be.

Even Channnel Five would be better suited to D&D's approach to kids TV... though their Milkshake stuff for kids is great they could generate much needed kudos with a good weekend morning schedule...

Well if they do relaunch Tiswas with D&D it will be on ITV cos they own all rights to it.

I can't see really what else they could do other than something like the bungalow after how badly Ask The Family was and so i doubt the BBC will be desperate to give another show type other than the bungalow format.
