Lambeth Parking Permits Help Please?

Thank you but I don't think that is the right place.
I already have my permit. I am not awaiting it or wondering why I don't have it.

That is also different to where/how the guy downstairs uploaded his :hmm:

Uh huh, that's why you have to provide your permit number on that page.

When I look at what I am seeing when logged in, compared to what the guy who lives downstairs is seeing when he is logged in, it looks like they don't need me to submit any more evidence :hmm:
Which does not seem right at all.

He has a button underneath his e-permit that says "log book" and when he clicks it it is waiting from him to submit logbook evidence and then move on to the other evidence.
Mine has no such button :(
It might be that you are accessing the website through an older internet browser that needs updating to the latest version? Often websites don't display correctly on older browsers...

As per T&P's comment - had this issue in previous years - am pretty sure that it was a browser issue and the relevant link / button was present when I used something other than Safari....

I am using chrome as I have a chromebook.
I have firefox on my pc though. Will have a look

ETA:Nope, made no difference :(

I've occasionally had a similar issue with my Chromebook.

Opening the page in incognito mode usually seems to work though.

sounds like a browser issue not the website. try logging in using a different browser maybe? I has an issue getting my e-permit and just kept uploading stuff (even though I knew I had dealt with it) and eventually I got an email saying it had 'been approved'.

The web form Throbbing Angel posted triggered them sending me an email so I've now emailed them evidence. :)

It looks like they don't send out reminders any more since changing to ePermits. I've just realised that I've had two tickets on my car (yesterday and today) and my residents permit must have expired I think yesterday. I've just checked back through all emails, including anything flagged as spam for the last 30 days and there's nothing from Lambeth, and definitely nothing in the post.

I've renewed my residents parking now and appealed both PCNs, but I doubt not getting a reminder to renew will be accepted.

A salient warning for anyone for anyone else who has residents parking in Lambeth.

:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

We just renewed our permit and had about 4 reminders, including two after we’d already renewed.:facepalm:

Thanks RoyReed - just checked this myself and found I needed to renew TODAY - had no reminder either on paper or via email. All sorted out in the nick of time though so I'll look forward to getting up to 4 reminders in the coming week

Sorry about your PCNs but I am pretty sure you *will* be able to get them quashed on 2 grounds:
- 1/ no reminders sent
2/ even in the "bad old days" of paper-only permits and applications there was a grace period after a resident permit expired (it varied between 1 and 2 weeks iirc) when attendants would not issue you PCNs if you could claim the new (renewed) permit had been applied for and was being issued. If you make a strong argument that the new e-permits regime has been under-publicised and you got no information about the regime changing I think you'd have a good chance.

Just heard back from Lambeth. The fucking bastards turned down my appeal, so I've had to pay.

A warning - them not sending you a reminder doesn't count as a valid defence.

 so given that it's all online now and there is no visual reminder in your vehicle, like in the old days, how are you meant to discover/remember when it runs out then?
Is there any way to appeal the appeal?
Definitely contact local press I think - this is crap even by Lambeth's standards.

In the letter they sent me turning down the claim they say they do send out reminders - even though I didn't get one.:mad:

I have set several reminders in my online and paper calendars for when it's up for renewal..

It's really shit and fucking typical that you didn't get a reminder from the council though

Another year, another moan about the regime:

To avoid a replay of RoyReed's 2017 fiasco I reminded *myself* to renew my permit online, well in advance. Which I did. Received a confirmation email, which I (thankfully) saved.
Then I got a bunch of extra reminders by email - which I ignored, assuming it was just redundant.
Then checked the confirmation/receipt email, which claimed with a straight face that I'd paid £160+ for a permit entitling me to park in Lambeth for... ONE (1) DAY. (not ONE YEAR which was what I'd clicked on Lambeth's clumsy website.)

I didn't want to be issued with a fistful of PCOs because of their mistake so thought I should sort this out before the apparent expiry date...

Half an hour on hold to speak to the otherwise-unreachable Parking team (they have no dedicated phone number, you must go through the switchboard, and no dedicated email address either) who said brightly "oh, yeah, this is a known error"  .

For the record: call the switchboard on 0207 926 9000, pick option 3 then 3 again, hold and wait patiently to be attended. They recommend ringing between 9 and 10am. See it's all perfectly easy when you know how

They actually sent me a reminder this year. It came the day before the one I'd set in my diary.
