I'm not quite sure, but this ALMO idea may be dead in the water till next year now.

Islington had to get at least a 2 star rating in their audit to be allowed by central gvt to set up the ALMO.

Lambeth have just scored 1...

The rules may have changed since then though, but it's only a couple of years ago...

If you refer to the CPA Rating update for February 2007, you’ll discover that Lambeth has indeed achieved the prerequisite 2 Star Rating for Housing in 2006. However, it also claims that they had a 2 Star rating in 2005 for Housing – was that the case?

I heard that Southwark want to build on Burgess Park

I believe they backed down on that one. But TFL is still trying to get the tram to go across the park right where they play sunday football.

Get the bus. These trams only eat parks and busy road junctions. They're self-glorofication for Livinstone and his TfL crew.
