i have to agree. A lot of Grime is fucking remarkable - both musically and lyrically. some of this stuff sounds like bloody Coil.. lyrically, there's some gangsta bollocks but there's also a LOT more going on. same as anything, there's always some shit..

and La Sov is brilliant.

i've only heard a bit of her stuff, but i like her attitude and her voice - i agree with what Dub and Tanky have said about Grime. some of it is amazing and literally has had the hair on my neck standing up

I don't think she's 'grime' really. Grime is only gangsta rap for the hard of thinking pseudo american disaffected yout of council estates in yo area and ting.

When the grime types get a brain they will start actually thinking about what they are saying instead of reprocessing the bollocks that american rappers spout out and pretending that that sort of culture actually exists in this country.

There's bits and pieces of her stuff I like, I think she's done some really good tunes that get into your head, its just her delivery and image I can't take seriously. Having said that I'm not quite sure what I'd like, or what I would like to see her do to make me like her. It just doesn't cut it for me, I can't help but think there is something faxu about it.

I did indeed. Bizzare mixture of about 100 peeps from different scenes there. She was drinking at the bar before the gig and was getting massive props from the folk there. I think I was the only person there who didn't try to get a pic of themselves with her!

The gig was good too, 4 piece band backing her up - sounded ace.

She's intellegent and witty way beyond her years, and cool as fuck.
