Bikini top and tiny skirt? Might feel more dressed then...I dunno. I'm with the not-worn-a-kini-since-the-80s-brigade BUT ACUTALLY that is a lie - I wore bikini top and hot pance type thing in Belize
there's these amazing bikinis now, the bottom part has more material and can be rolled down to create a tiny skirt look covering any bulges or hairy bits that other bikinis, even those short type ones just highlight.

As someone who has seen many, many old German ladies nude on a variety of European beaches who are also surrounded by lithe young things I can only surmise that this whole issue is an anglo thing about getting bods out. Seriously - the press and magazines in Europe have just as much bollocks about bodies and weight in them as the UK ones, but every time I visited Spain, France etc Euro women generally seem to be less bothered about this stuff.
Which TBH can hurt the eyes a bit if you get to the beach at 9:30 am and the first thing you see is a naked 70 yr old german lady with a trimmed bush and tits near her hips and skin like an old leather bag...it's even scarier when they give you a lacivious wink...

Indifferent.... I did it pre-baby, even though I always had a big tummy, and I figured I didn't look that bad.
I'm wondering whether or not I'll go for it in South Africa at Christmas - tried it on the other day and it looked OK, although, despite losing some weight, my tum is bigger than ever. I suppose it's in better proportion as my boobs are bigger too! So I'll probably dare too, as while my stomach's quite sticky-out, it's not wobbly or anything.

lol, yeah I hear what you're saying but this wasnt an all-inclusive beach. This was a summer fiesta the guy I had a mad crush on for a while and his amazing amazing looking gf and stunning mates were going to be at. I feared the inferiority complex would be too great.

Take heart from the fact that I'm off to Beefa for 5 days at the end of August, and my belly isn't getting any flatter from the non-excercise I keep doing and I'll still be hitting the beach topless

We were in Wal Mart, and they were selling these cheap bikinis. Like five bucks each. They were in primary neon colours, and some of the non primary colours. I don't think neon green, pink etc, are primary colours.
My kid bought some, but she mixed and matched the colours. Yellow top with blue bottom. Green and pink together. etc.
She says it's a big hit when she does this.
She's not really what one might call a self-conscious person.

I've been on a nudist beach with my mum and her partner (i kept bottoms on).........after a while it stops being a novelty doesn't it ?

Why would it be an eye-opener? I've been on loads of nudist beaches (last time was on holiday in fuerteventura earlier this year) and have never found them to be 'eye opening'...desparately trying to be eye-closing in some cases

well, I mean it was pure accident on my part. Basically I got taken for a beach camping weekend break with 2 of my mates...what they didnt tell me was that it was a nudist beach and campsite nearby.

yeah saw some similar sights but there were young hot people there aswell. Young families with their naked kids etc. Was just really laid back and chilled.
