Lab Rats BBC..What happened to our ability to make comedy?

In other words, it's poorly written, unfunny wank that relies solely on the sort of retarded "whacky antics" beloved of first year media students everywhere. I've shat things that were funnier than the Mighty Boosh. If it were up to me, the writers would have their hands cut off and their vocal cords removed, lest they ever try to contribute to a TV show again.
I'll enjoy it even more now I know that In Bloom hates it. :D

Yeah, Linehan has certainly been the studio sitcom king in this country for a while now IMO.

Ironic really, given that neither he nor Mathews are from this country, although they first broke through on On The Hour/The Day Today. It's absolutely incredible to think who worked on those shows and what they've done since; Morris, Iannucci, Quantick, Lee & Herring, Linehan & Mathews, Coogan, Baynham, Schneider, Marber. Where are the new breed of Oxbridgians coming through with new ideas?

I think the Garth Merenghi people were Oxbridge (Ayoade and Matt Holness). And David Mitchell and Robert Webb.
