kung fu films

also i find it played out a bit better... much move movement and attacks where as when watching a bruce lee fight the is a lot of standing still then a short flury of activity perfectly acceptable for a fight not so good for a movie

i just find chan to be a better film star .. he plays to the camera as well as being a rather good fighter

I still haven't seen Kung Fu Hustle... Ridiculous considering I'm living in China. Problem is always finding out which Chinese films are which and which ones have English subtitles...

I watched kung fu hustle with no subtitles, still loved it. I watched ong bak this afternoon dubbed in spanish, bit weird but still excellent. Blimey, I'll be a diehard fan soon... :D

excellent thread i've got Wheels on Meals on DVD may watch it tonight although was planning on watching Seven Samurai, Project A another excellent Chan movie where jackie does the "hanging from the clock tower" homage to Harold Lloyd

For me, the Chan/Urquidez fight feels much more "real" somehow because they'd probably be a fairly reasonable pairing in a no-holds-barred match fight of that kind.

just earlier today i watched a copy of one of Urquidez's title defences. He certainly was good! Tomorrow i think i may sart a kickboxing/muay thai/mma thread
