Kosovo - What's the state of play today?

On a very simple level - they're surrounded. No?
Not looking good really. I hate to worry my little brain with big issues, but it seems Turkey are taking on the Iraq job and Kosovo is surrounded by Serbia whilst Serbia is surrounded by 'new' Europe. They're trapped unless a bit of very big intervention intervenes
Ugly stuff and very worrying.
That is a very simple level and things are always far more complicated.
