and were enjoying themselves which is a winner in my book..its its brillant that they are such young kids too and they are following their own musical path
i dont really follow the 50s scene generally but they seem a bit different to many other 50's influenced bands ..they werent really just rockabilly for a start, their musical style and influences havent been done to death... i think a lot of their appeal is VISUAL maybe it is a bit flat/soulless on radio?

sounds fair enough really..if you know their sources well i can completely see how they will seem not that special..it floored me cos i hadnt thought about that style of music for a very long time and seemed such an antidoteBEARBOT said:sounds fair enough really..if you know their sources well i can completely see how they will seem not that special..it floored me cos i hadnt thought about that style of music for a very long time and seemed such an antidote

The legacy prevails!...

..will seek out those artists at some point soon.should be great as i only know louis jordan from that list who i do like..such good natured music! want to try dl-ing the collins kids as well, wonder if the music is in fact anything like kitty and co. or if im just fixacted on the age/wholesome image comparisons and im suffering from false memories..possibly collins kids were more country...cant do music research right now tho sadly
