kittens need a home brixton area

This is what I was expecting to be the consequence, although I am disappointed, since now both my daughter and her boyfriend (who lives with us) have seen the photos and are emailing me constantly saying they want them! :)

But, even though we have a proven good home for cats here, I wouldn't feel happy saying yes so quickly to taking them without meeting them and thinking about it and discussing it some more with my daughter. Besides, the shop round the corner from both me and the Biggas, is always there!

Well we have never owned cats as a couple but we both have seperatly and kittens are kittens to us as long as they get along with eachother thats fine. We have no other cats to bother them or be bothered by them.

Unfortunatly Norwood junction isn't 'round the corner' from us and we don't
drive.

Trains every 15 minutes or so from West Norwood and don't take long - a couple of stops. :)

It's a brilliant little shop and sells dead cheap pet food, as well as pets of various descriptions. You can tell that it is run by a family who love animals.

But it's fine - I don't resent you having them. I am just a bit disappointed that, since I was the first to respond, I wasn't given the option to consider them. As my daughter has just pointed out in an email, there are plenty of other kittens out there waiting to be loved.

We already have a cat who is getting increasingly lonely as she now realises that her sister is not just away temporarily! And now I need to leave this thread, as I am getting tearful, and I have to go into a meeting!

The silver one is just gorgeous, and the black and white one looks just like our cat Hendrix (minus the long hair).

eeek sorry Guineveretoo maybe i didnt play the game right here..my thinking was to give priority to first person who said ill def take em as apposed to ill get back to you..but there are indeed plenty of kittens wanting homes out there so its not like its gonna be hard finding some.

Well I hope you're meeting goes well and you're not too upset :( :o

Just thought I should explain, in case you thought otherwise, that I was getting tearful about the death of my other cat (who I miss terribly) and at how lonely the surviving one clearly is, not at you getting the kittens instead of me! :)

As others have mentioned in the past, Battersea Dogs home can be a good source of kittens. Just ensure you're there nice and early because there will be queues and the very first ones to go are the kittens and young ones.
