Kittehs are coming!

We need close up pictures of their tiny mewing mouths.

I'm tempted to try and upload a movie next time just so you can hear their teeny tiny squeaks.

Their no good love 'em and leave 'em ginger Tom of a dad turned up this morning and sat in the back garden looking forlorn. Then sat on the garage roof looking forlorn. However, I'm sure it's just because he wants some more action and not any sense of fatherly duty :hmm: So, am keeping Little Miss firmly under lock and key.

He's a curious looking thing - he's got quite long fur and looks like he's frowning all the time. There's something of the Boris Johnson about him. Needless to say, I'm hoping the kittehs will take after their mum!

More kittehs...

Little Miss looks like she has some siamese in her heritage.

I want the marmalade one but I think our old lady wouldn't be impressed!!

Yup. She's half Siamese. And couldn't you tell by her mieows yesterday as she squeezed 'em out!

I had a Siamese when I was a kid and am v.fond of them - lots of people think they're v.aloof but if they know and love you they are extremely affectionate and I love the way they 'talk' to you :)

However the neighbour who's her 'real' owner says she wouldn't get one again - she prefers moggys. Yet another sign she was destined to be ours *evil grin*

I've been fretting all evening that the kittehs are OK. Mum was wandering around the kitchen for quite a while and I was worried they were on their own too long :( But they're all snuggled up now and I've turned the light off and left the cupboard door half shut - it's just so hard when all I want to do is go 'awww' and sit watching them.

We've got a slight case of fleas too :o Haven't been able to do 'owt to her as she's obviously been preggers. However, she's confined downstairs where there's no carpet for them to hide in so will just have to ride it out and make sure she's got clean bedding until we can get her and the babies to the vet for a check up.

they are but I've been reminded of squeaky balls of fluff that wee in shoes and wake me up by scratching

I don't do being woken up

*wants kitten*

Being woken up by a kitteh is soooo forgiveable though, it is, honestly :D

I know this for a fact, my ginger kitteh regularly wakes me up by washing my face at 4am, but I forgive him, I do *yawns* :D

This makes me indescribably sad.

I sat and cried for ages. It was an awful thing to see. It's especially bad because I don't know which neighbour it belongs to and whoever it is is going to get a horrible surprise in the morning.

Sorry for lowering the tone of the thread, anyway. Lovely kittehs and all that.

So ... fluffy... and... cute... and... soft ... must stroke and hug!

Lovely, lovely kittens!

I am very envious, am desperately trying to persuade Mr. QofG's that we need another kitteh but he is not convinced. May have to show him these pictures with a big WANT sign next to them :D

the trick is to shut your bedroom door :D

ignore the grumpy man - it'll keep you company when he's away and toasty in the winter

mum is gorgeous and i'm sure the kits will be too.

..."meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meeeow, mAAAWWW!meow, meow, meow, meow, meow,oh poor meeeeeeee I'm dying of loneliness out here meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow." etc

:D

We can't win- must as well concede defeat gracefully.

Mind, our cats don't meow as adults any more when they want into the bedroom, but unless the door is properly latched closed they will push it open in the middle of the night, jump on the bed and start their 'wake-up-it's-time-for-breakfast' ritual.

The bastards.

our doors don't shut with a handle as such, they just push to - and going on the experience of my old cat they won't stop anything from getting into my bedroom and waking me up with a swipe of claws-out paw

I really want a kitten though :(
