Kinda Punky Folky Crusty Bands We Have Loved..

Quite a late response to this thread and particular question. I have found that MadHalibut will be playing Lichfield festival Fuse on Sat 9th July 2011 which is a free festival with loads of bands. I found there music which is free to download on http://madhalibut.bandcamp.com

Blimey! I've thought of starting a thread about them, but presumed that no-one would of heard of them :D

As in a five year old thread bumped from the dead!!

Just in case folks had missed that ....

Steev -- I've not heard of MadHalibut :o

Were/are they VERY crusty? :)

On a crust related note -- saw PAIN for the first time ever** at Bearded Theory last weekend :D

**I'd been to about five gigs/squat parties/fests where they'd at short notice cancelled/just failed to turn up. 'Back in the day' I mean ...

Not all MadHalibut were that crusty, one though used to live in a bus and parked up outside the guitarists house. When the house the guitarist went to work the didge player had a bath. He was banned from taking further baths as the layer of grime was horrendous.
The singer was an old punk poet, the didge player was a vegan bus dweller with serious dreds and the rest were students or the like.
