killer b on't radio

there's a 'dance classics' show on next, so the balance of the universe will be restored shortly...

what d'you mean, i 'sound funny'?

Mmmm dance classics that'll be a laugh. What are the people doing that like? It's not the same people who move the bins round at night is it?

never mind mate... the computer system fucked me up and played everything out of order for the first 10 minutes, so i don't think i was at me best...

right, some links... i think almost everything i played was downloaded, so tis all good...

the live venetian snares thing was part of a two hour show - get it all here

the warpigs remix - here

i got the white punks on dope thing, louis farrakhan and william shatner from the WFMU archive - and theres loads of other good stuff there too...

jello biafra came from alternative tentacles - again, loads of other wicked shit there.

eight frozen modules - from his website - right click/save on the second image on the right at the top of the page.

red shadow - understanding marxism is from ubu.com, and plenty more there to keep you going.

other stuff i can't remember where it came from...

on again next week... and if you fancy cooking a delicious meal in half an hour, with some quality soul sweetness, tune in on saturday between 3-3.30. :)

fuck knows. but they are the people we're supposed to be 'reaching out' to, so it's all good if so...

sometimes in community radio it seems that the more scallies you put on air, the more funding you get

and why not? preston fm has a very specific remit to help people who are marginalised in particular parts of preston - and thats scallies for the most part. the important part for the majority of the shows is the process, not the output... and the music played is still better than what they play on rock fm, even if the chat in between is a bit shoddy.

but it's getting some rough kids involved with the community, and their mates are listening to the shows... it's hopefully having a pretty positive knock on effect on loads of people's lives.

plus there's still room for a few people like me to play yardcore & extreme metal at 7 in the evening. :D

Well there's all those crazy targets they have to meet innit. A certain number from the inner city, a certain number of deaf people, a certain number of drug scum, a certain number of horses...all working together for the community ;)
