round the twist on the other was legendary.

Archer's Goon. This was the Lost of my childhood.

First episode here: http://www.veoh.com/browse/videos/category/family/watch/v175072694DjMdwkn

This is the first time I've watched it since it was first on and it's still ace. The title sequence alone should be enough to send shivers down your spine.

^ oh, fuck - that man in that room:eek: That's about all I remember - that and turning on mid episode some point and no idea wtf was going on. Think it freaked me out too much to watch most of it

eta: Round The Twist was great:D remember the one with the cloning machine - don't think I saw any of the ones based on Paul Jenning's stories, they must've been later episodes? (read some of his books earlier - inc the one that became without my pants - it's 'without my shirt' in the original story :D)

Currently watching the bbc adaptation of 'the box of delights', which is all on youtube. It's probably my favourite kids book ever, and the series has aged well - still very watchable.

I've watched 3 episodes of it and I forgot how barmy and brilliant it actually is. 7 brothers and sisters who act as dictators and farm out different parts of society in a town. Law and order is run by a conniving enchantress, the banks are run by a power mad arsehole, all the while Trigger refuses to help any of them by writing 200 words that will help one of them take over the world. Utterly brilliant for a kids show.

met a 17 year old who didn't even know of He-man today. I played forlornly with skeletor and battlecat while others filled him in.
