Day trip to Bewdley, or take a canal boat ride to Stourport. Fuck all to do in Kidderminster. Very nice countryside on the doorstep if that's of interest, but as others say, Kidder itself is a bit of a shit hole. Better pubs and places can be found around Aggborough (East of the center) IMO.

Generally, it's a ringroad encased hell surrounded by old road house type pubs from the 'glory' days of British motoring for people escaping Brum.

Ah.... Kidderminster (definitely NOT in Wales) and Bewdley, my school friend's parents had a weekend caravan in Far Forest and I used to go with them sometimes. There was a lovely pool nearby we went paddling in - used to have to walk across the railway tracks (not used on a Sunday) to get there. Lovely countryside, don't know if it's still as nice now.
I have an aunt and uncle who moved from Brum to Kidder but I havn't visited them there.
Stourbridge and Stourport are ok, the chalets along the Severn at Stourport are brilliant!

We stayed in the horn and trumpet in Bewdley in the end. Nice little village. The landlord opened the kitchen and made us chips and gravy at midnight when we rolled in pissed

Had to hang about Kiddy during the day and it was dire, fook me.

Stayed in Birmingham on Friday night and went out there, had a brilliant time and everyone seemed right up for a laugh.

My mate is going on a course in Kidderminster next month and he wants me to go with him on some kind of jolly. He insists Kidderminster is in Wales even though Wikipedia disagrees. Anyway, what's to like in Kidderminster?

He would entice you to his Minster of Kiddies? For a jolly? On a course? Clearly you are using these Whales to entice innocent young children.

However, there was SLOW / ARAF signs around the diversion in the town centre which was odd!?

probably from clee hill the council work contractors. the companys located near the clee hills serves herefordshire, shropshire, welsh boarders, etc and towards birmingham

There might be one or two small firms but the carpet industry there pretty much died in the 60's/ 70's I believe, due to too much competition from abroad.
