At half time at Selhurst Park last night there was some bloke singing/rapping in support of Kick Racism out of Football. Not only was he fucking awful in terms of musical talent (people were booing in the end cos it was so bad), his main message seemed to be that we should all see the light and turn to Jesus.

Why is that crap being spouted for a Kick Racism out of Football half time event?

Crystal Palace foist God-botherers on half-time crowd

What were they thinking?

The booing in question was directed at the half-time entertainment, a group of black ‘yoof’ who gangsta-limped on to the pitch and started rapping about Jesus. I kid you not. It was toe-curlingly awful. I had little option but to join in the chorus of jeering that swept round the stadium.

A funny moment involving one happened after a Merseyside derby - where we were walking out of Anfield, bouyed by a 1-0 victory against Everton. 93rd minute - Ronny Rosenthal winner. Blatantly offside. Everton were looking like they were going down.

Outside the ground, there was a bloke with a sandwich board that read "The end of the World is nigh" - he shouted out, "don't worry Blues, there's life after death"!
