If this option was available, it'd win almost every time...

Nah it's the KFC "shite" in it that's horrible. My mate had one of these the other day and I felt ill just watching him eat it.It smelt pretty awful..but then again it was from the Briccie branch of KFC too..Icky icky :(

We had chicken, but not KFC: Church's.

Church's is the most overrated chicken joint on the planet. How they've been in business so long I have no idea. The ones around here have closed.

It's kinda greasy, but I like the flavour. We have it sometimes, not too often. The best chicken in town is done by a local phillipino chain.

I'll bet if the two of you didn't know it was from KFC, you'd enjoy it just fine.

Aye... tell 'em it came from the local deli and give it a fancy name and they'll be swearing that it cures cancer. ;)

KFC sucks, especially within last 10 years. They're going downhill because they are getting away from their basics.

I'm not a fan, they did a rotisserie chicken thing years ago where I am but I could cook about 5 chickens for the price of one chicken breast. There was a KFC at the end of my street and the smell has put me off for life. I did like the fluorescent green coleslaw tho'.:p

KFC is grand. I never understand people getting on their high horses about a very simple food, beloved by many a culture - take chicken, coat and fry. As simple and tasty as that. When a meat's as bland as chicken, sealing all the flavour in's a wise idea.

It may not be seen as fashionable or classy by the chattering classes, but fried chicken's got far more integrity than many a snack. So it's comparatively high in fat, but so have many a Pret A Manger sandwich.

As a former KFC 'chef' I agree with the above ^^

Nothing in it but chicken, flour, milk powder and 'secret recipe'. Purest high street fast food out there.

Like, but oooh, it's so greasy. I don't know how you could eat that filth.

You what? It's a piece of chicken on a bone, as nature intended. If you don't like it, go con yourself that the tasteless piece of shrinkwrapped breast comes from a different animal, or tell yourself that the industrially produced fungus-smegma that is Quorn is preferable somehow. And you don't want to see what I've really added to your ready meal. Taste the difference you certainly will.

Fried chicken - it's the straight up food of kings....

it's wierd, i will always try to go for the no-name chicken places (like Tennesse and Dixie), but actually kfc generally tastes better. i have had some chicken from independent places taht was so salty yo ucould feel yr heart seizing up.

Favourite Chicken is my second best to KFC..I've stopped going to Morleys after finding randon "hard bits of something" twice in my chicken burgers :D

Interesting discussion.

I usually much prefer Chicken Shop chicken to KFC.

Spicier and just more tasty dammit.
